After much discussion, we figured out how to get the boats down the steep drop to the water AND did so without incident. The two kayaks are on the seawall and you can access them without getting wet via the beach at lower tide. The paddles and life jackets are in the shed attached to the carport. The paddle boat is tied up to the dock. If you take the line off the pier you can easily step in and get the cover off and take the other line off with it getting wet. It is really fun to take around- kids, parents, anyone can putter around. You could probably even fish off of it and the fishing in the Nomini is fantastic!
